Sir Ursuline Ricaydo is a knight of the Remdragon Knights under the command of Riftan Calypse. He holds 3rd rank among RDK.
Appearence[]
Ursuline has slightly curly blond hair and his eyes are dark blue. Hebaron says that Ursuline has that ideal physique desired by women, good proportions and a very handsome face.
Story[]
He first appears in chapter 1 in book 1 of the novel, when he interupts Riftan kissing Maximilian. In the beginning of the story he is openly hostile toward Maximilian, it was especially evident when he refused Maximilian's offer to heal his small injury, he questioned her ability to properly speak and recite spells. His hostility was fuelled in part because of the treatment that the RDK suffered from the Duke.
History[]
Sir Ursuline is a very loyal knight of the RDK, however he also has a strong sense of loyalty to royalty, as he was born into a noble family and lived surrounded by nobility. He is second son of count Ricaydo, in one Q&A author said that Ursuilne was physically abused by his much older brother. He was going to become his brother's man-at-arm as soon as he becomes a knight, but he got interested in RDK because of Riftan and joined RDK instead to his family dismay. When he was knighted at age 18, he swore an oath to Princess Agnes, which makes him very loyal to her and the royal family as well. Hence, he is disgusted that Ritan refuses to marry Agnes in order to be with his wife, Maximilian.
Ursuline is a son from prestigious aristocratic family and he was engaged at young age. It was a marriage proposal made to form allegiance for his brother sake, but since Ursuline joined RDK, the engagement became ambiguous - there's no reason to nulilfy nor consummate the marriage. Ursuline feels sorry for his fiancee and believes keeping chastity is an honorable thing, that's why he doesn't date.
