Ruth is a supporting character in the series. He is a wizard.

Appearance

Ruth is an average sized man with straight silver hair and grey eyes with blue around the iris.

Personality

He can be described as having a crude and rash personality, always showing his true colors to Maximilian. Even so, he has a nice side that truly cares for others, especially when it comes to the Calypses.

Plot

He is first seen giving a mana stone to Maximilian that will keep her warm on the long journey to the land, Anatol where its ruled by Riftan Calypse. He later helps Maximilian with managing the estates finances, teaching her how money works when she didn't know, and eventually on how to control mana. We find out in the spin off story from Riftan's POV that he and Riftan met when Riftan was 16 y/o and was hired to capture and kill a nest of Wyverns. Ruth as well as another sorcerer were called upon to put the wyverns to sleep while Riftan and other mercenaries along with knights and royal soldiers took care of them. It didn't go as planned, but since then Ruth has been with Riftan and also became the wizard of the RDK. He has an ancestor who was an elf which is why he has such great control of his mana.

History

Ruth studied at the World Tower on the island of Nornui. He was appointed as high-ranking wizard at World Tower, was even one of Princess Agnes's teachers. But Ruth couldn't stand World Tower's strict rules and fled the Nornui. Since then he worked as mercenary. On one of his mercenary missions he meets Riftan and became like his shadow. Eventually both later join RDK. Despite being a powerful wizard since he fled from World Tower, he is shunned and looked down upon by all wizards, apart from Maximilian.
